History
In The Making

In 1986 John Lawlor connected 330,000 television sets to orbiting satellites and personal computers in wholesale, retail and factory outlets throughout the city of Edmonton, Canada.

Unlimited local trading data from all trading categories was made available on television screens to half the population of Edmonton.

"Something Amazing"
Happened

People began placing their own trading information on television right from their stores, their offices and their living rooms.

They could watch their own results on television. They could change the information themselves.

"Trade Began
  To Accelerate"

People in their offices, stores and living rooms were able to see real-time trading take place right on cable television.

Goods and services began to change hands rapidly.

25 Years Ahead
Of The Market

Like other communication pioneers Mr. Lawlor foresaw billions of computer users coming to the marketplace.

"When you begin 25 years ahead of the market you might have enough time to figure it out."

"It took 40 years and one trillion dollars to get from ARPANet to YouTube" John observed.

"Computer users all over the world are ready for the next step."
